PPT Accountant supports Daniher’s Drive

This month, PPT Accountant Thomas Elford will participate in Daniher’s Drive, a 4-day fundraising drive around regional Victoria starting on the 13th of October.

Neale Daniher, former Essendon player and Coach of both Melbourne and Fremantle in the AFL was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2013. The average life expectancy is 2 and a half years from the first diagnosis. MND leads to the progressive loss of ability to talk, swallow, walk, move and even breathe. Neale is continually raising the profile and awareness of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and the need for funds for research for a cure.

The Foundation aims to raise over a half a million dollars in the drive participation fees and fundraising activities associated with the 4 day/3 night journey. The Foundation is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and has full deductible status and is a 100% Not for Profit organisation. By donating you will be helping better care for those affected by the disease, but also increased funding for vital research into finding a cure.
