Team Q&A: Emma Sinclair
Meet Risk Insurance & Financial Planning Administrator Emma Sinclair.
Joining the team at the end of 2024, with a strong background in HR and admin, Emma works dynamically across both our Financial Planning team and alongside our Risk Insurance Specialist, Brent.
What is your role with PPT, and what do you enjoy most about it?
I am a Risk Insurance and Financial Planning Administrator. I love the diversity of the role – I work between our Financial Planning team and Brent, who is our Risk Insurance Specialist, so no two days are the same for me.
Now that the Ballarat winter has well and truly settled in, what would be your dream travel destination?
I’ve already been to Europe twice, as well as Japan and South Korea, but the more places I visit, the more I want to see so there are so many places on my bucket list, it’s ridiculous!
I would really love to revisit Japan and South Korea. But I would also love to see China. I’ve also always wanted to see Scotland and Wales, and I’ve recently added Iceland, Sweden, and Norway to my bucket list. Plus, there is Canada, New Zealand, going back to Europe… the list goes on and on!
Do you have a favourite hobby or pastime?
I love playing video games—it is one of my favourite things to do in my spare time. My favourite game of all time is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – I even have a tattoo based on it!
If you could invite any five people to dinner, who would they be?
J. R. R. Tolkien, Princess Diana, Robin Williams, Carrie Fisher, and Catherine O’Hara.
What podcast or TV show would you recommend right now?
I am currently obsessed with America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on Netflix! I usually don’t love reality TV, but this show has me hooked!

- Early bird or night owl? Night owl for sure, early mornings are a huge struggle for me!
- Beach or mountains? Mountains – I love going to the mountains! I’m not a fan of sand and even less of a fan of the ocean.
- Coffee or tea? Coffee – I wish I liked tea, but I have yet to find one that I genuinely like the taste of.
- Dogs or cats? While I do love both, I have a dog, so I am biased here.
