Team Q&A: Jack Hutchinson

Meet Tax Accountant Jack Hutchinson. Originally hailing from the beautiful Yarra Valley, Jack became part of the PPT team in August 2025.

What is your role with PPT, and what do you enjoy most about it?

My role at PPT is as a Tax Accountant. I not only assist clients with their tax compliance but also add value to their organisations through strategic tax planning, financial forecasting, and helping them secure critical financial infrastructure such as funding facilities and equipment finance.

Did you work elsewhere before joining PPT?

Yes, I began my career at RSM, a top 10 AFR firm, as a graduate in 2021. I gained invaluable experience and exposure there before making the move to PPT.

Do you play any sport? Tell us about that.

While I’m extremely uncoordinated (and can’t kick a footy to save my life!), I’m an avid dirt bike enthusiast. You’ll usually find me out in the bush on weekends.

What would be your perfect destination this summer?

Returning to the Amalfi Coast in Italy during the warmer months would be absolutely amazing!

If you could invite any five people to dinner, who would they be?

Mark Bouris (Aussie entrepreneur), Ricky Carmichael (15-time AMA Motocross champion), Tony Robbins (motivational speaker), my wife, and Elvis Presley (so my wife can meet him!).

What podcast or TV show would you recommend right now?

Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO and Noiser’s Short History are definitely my top two podcast recommendations.
