Team Q&A: Kim Warke

Earlier this month, we caught up with a familiar face to many who have recently visited the office, PPT Customer Service Specialist Kim Warke. Born and raised in Ballarat, Kim once planned to move north to warmer climates but ultimately stayed, built a home and is now happy to call Ballarat home.

When did you join PPT?

I have been at PPT for almost 2 years now.

What is your role with PPT, and what do you enjoy most about it?

I am a Customer Service Specialist and Receptionist but I have recently branched out into accounts management and have also taken up some administrative work for the superannuation team. I like the social side of my role and all the people I get to speak to, but I also really enjoy all the new opportunities I have been given lately.

Did you work elsewhere before joining PPT?

Before PPT, I was a receptionist at the Ballarat Animal Shelter handling adoptions, reclaims and surrenders of all kinds of animals. So, coming to PPT has been quite a big change!

What keeps you busy outside of work?

Family! My partner and I do a lot of things with both of our families – including a lot of camping and going to concerts together!

Island, Outback, River, or Mountains: Where is your perfect getaway?

River for sure!! Can’t go wrong with a trip to the Murray!

If you could invite any five people to dinner, who would they be?

Jimmy Barnes 110%, Jon Stevens, Johnny Depp, Lainey Wilson and Pink.
